As a circuit of enthusiastic coaches, directors, and debate community - the Tri-State Debate League seeks to provide local tournament opportunities to middle and high school debate programs across the New York City metropolitan area.

Our purpose supports, both, the development of young students and national-caliber competition to the area. Offering Cross-Examination/Policy, Lincoln-Douglas, Congress, and Public Forum with experienced judging, our mission is to provide an excellent academic outcome for competitors to achieve their competitive and intellectual goals. Our programming also offers middle school debate opportunities that more closely resemble 

We provide quality tournament hosting services to member schools and tabulate each division of every event and format of competition. Furthermore, we actively search for and recruit quality and experienced debate judges to best assist in the educational process of student development.
